Technology is changing the world. Companies with responsible business are changing the world. And there are people behind everything …
The concept of responsible business has been used in recent years in various areas of companies and it represents respect for the needs of all partners with whom they come into contact in their business, whether they are employees, customers, competitors, suppliers or the local community and the environment.
A company can declare responsibility towards employees through equal opportunities, diversity and inclusion in the workplace, activities in the field of health and safety protection, working conditions, support for reconciling between work and personal life, it can develop corporate volunteering. There are many ways and methods to get inspired.
Interest in People
GS-SOFT, an IT company operating in Europe that focuses on the support and development of SAP systems, also knows this. The company is based in Pezinok and has branches in Bratislava, Žilina and Košice.
“Although we are currently a multinational company with 150 people, we respect the traditions of the family business. Informal relationships on a first name basis, openness, sincerity and fair business are the values we follow. Our colleagues come first. We are aware that if we support them in personal growth and education, we will make progress as a company,” says Erik Gottschall, the founder and co-owner of GS-SOFT.
“We are also interested in people from the point of view of communities in which they live, they are involved, either directly or as the members of families. It is important to us that even in their free time activities, they feel the support of the company that is behind them as behind people,” adds Gottschall.
And so, every year, GS-SOFT announces an internal competition for its employees for the 12 best projects in which they are involved, whether they are sports clubs, various interest groups or schools. Each quarter 3 of them will be supported by financial donations.
Who was supported by GS-SOFT in the last year?

The work of companies in communities and the environment in which they operate never ends. There are many ways to contribute to others, to be considerate and supportive.
